If you have told me years ago that I would
be crazy about dogshows, I would have laughed, But when you get into this game it is hard to
stop. Suddenly the strangers and the shows becomes friends, and dogshows becomes like friends
get-together.
But not all dogshows turns out as planned.
On the left you will se, the photos that for good reason never made it to the show resultpage
(march 1998) . Mahilia was on the judges table, when some dogs on the floor in another ring
started a fight. I could feel it in the line, how her small body shaked, she was on-guard and
wanted to be in the fight – just for a little fun....
So when we got down on the floor, Mahilia wanted to fight the bitch next to her. Her eyes was
shiny and her tail was wagging, while she was fighting with all her power to get to the nearby
bitch.
People standing around the ring started to laugh and I had to carry Mahilia out of the ring
after the judgement.
Once again I have acknowledged that I will never be a great handler, so the job has been
turned over to the safe hands of Inge Lonsdale, as you can see on the photo below form the
International Dogshow in Sunds where Mahilia won her first CC.
